Hypnosis
(or trance) is a naturally occurring state of consciousness
in which the mind’s focus is concentrated on a specific
thing or thought. How many times have you been making a
journey by car or walking and arrived at your destination
not able to remember having got there? Or have been jolted
back to reality by some one speaking to you and said “sorry,
I was miles away”, You will have slipped into trance.
Contrary
to popular belief it is not the same as being asleep, you,
the client, will feel comfortable and relaxed, there is
no such thing as a hypnotised feeling and you will be in
control and aware of your surroundings at all times.
This
makes it a very safe therapy, it is not possible
to make anybody do or say something against their will.
